Andie

Andie is originally from the coastal and vivid city of Santa Cruz, California. She recently moved to Washington to join the veterinary field, a life long dream of hers. Growing up in Santa Cruz, Andie developed a deep appreciation for animals, which eventually led her to pursue a career where she could combine both passions. Before transitioning into veterinary medicine, Andie gained valuable experience in the pet care industry, working in a variety of roles that allowed her to develop a well-rounded skill set and a deeper understanding of the needs of animals. Over the years, she honed her ability to care for pets in various ways-from grooming to training-and her growing commitment to animal welfare eventually led her to pursue a career in the veterinary field. 

Andie joined the Salish Veterinary Hospital team in January of 2025 and is excited to bring her diverse background and hands-on experience to her work, helping animals and their families in a more direct and impactful way. The opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in veterinary care allows her to continue learning, grow in her skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the pets she cares for.

At home, Andie shares her life with two dogs-Donatello (pictured), a loyal and playful Pitbull, and Raymond, a fun-loving and mischievous Boston Terrier mix who never fails to keep things interesting. These two furry friends are an important part of her life, providing her with constant joy and companionship. Together, they form a close-knit family, with Andie giving them all the love and care they deserve.

Outside of her professional and home life, Andie enjoys exploring the arts and indulging in her hobbies. She has a passion for visiting museums, where she can immerse herself in history, culture, and creativity. Whether she's admiring a painting or learning about the past, Andie finds these experiences to be both enriching and inspiring. In addition to her love for museums, she loves playing video games as a way to unwind and challenge herself in virtual worlds. Video games offer her an enjoyable escape and an opportunity to engage her mind in new ways. When she's not indulging in her personal interests, Andie cherishes spending quality time with her friends.
