Veterinarian
Dr. Reid Lutz grew up here in the greater Snoqualmie/North bend area. He completed high school at Mount Si (Go Wildcats) then attended Montana State University where he earned a degree in Microbiology in 2020. Pursuing a childhood dream Dr. Lutz then attended Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated from in 2024.
After completion of his studies Dr. Lutz began his career in Wenatchee, Washington. Where he gained exposure to a range of both general practice and urgent care/emergency medicine and enjoyed the expansive great outdoors of the region.
In 2016, months after Salish opened, Dr. Lutz joined the Salish team during summer breaks to gain experience and be enlightened to the world of veterinary medicine. There he was mentored by wonderful employees and doctors alike, lighting a flame for him to continue to pursue this wonderful career. Dr. Lutz has since become deeply interested in many aspects of veterinary medicine. Particular focus and interest include preventative care, surgery, reproductive and emergency medicine and he is so excited to provide care for the patients in his hometown.
Outside of professional life, Dr. Lutz is an eccentric outdoorsman. He enjoys trail-running, triathlons, fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing, backpacking and hunting. Look out for him and his dog Lupine (pictured below) in the woods.
