Veterinarian
Dr. Sarah Foss became a valued veterinarian of the Salish Veterinary Team in July of 2022. She attended Western Washington University in 2015, where she earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Evolutionary Biology, with a minor in Environmental Sciences. In 2022, Dr. Foss graduated from Oregon State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Foss has a particular interest in behavior, preventative care, and pain management. She believes in the importance of addressing the root cause of behavioral issues and focusing on preventing illness before it occurs. She is dedicated to helping her patience manage pain, ensuring they lead healthier, happier lives.
Dr. Foss grew up in a Korean American household. She knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in animal care. In 2023, Dr. Foss and her husband, Chris, purchased their first home. They have 3 spirited pets: Ann (pictured), an australian cattle dog mix; Stacy, a cattle dog rescue from the Snoqualmie pass; and Mel, an independent calico. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Foss enjoys board games, such as Magic: The Gathering, cooking, horror movies and attending drag shows.
