
Veterinary Assistant
Bill's passion for animals began at a very young age, sparking an enduring love that has shaped both his personal and professional life. As a child, he spent countless hours watching Animal Planet, captivated by the world of animals and their behaviors. Born in Houston, Texas, Bill's early years were spent in the colorful city, but he eventually moved to the Snoqualmie Valley. The region's lush forests, towering mountains, and winding rivers inspired a deep appreciation for the outdoors, which has only grown throughout his life. Bill's love for the environment extends beyond his professional ambitions, as he's passionate about hiking, camping, and exploring the many national parks the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Bill's academic journey led him to the University of Washington, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. This educational background laid the groundwork for his future endeavors in veterinary medicine, as his fascination with animals continued to grow. He is now eagerly preparing to take the next steps in his career by attending veterinary school in the fall of 2025, a goal he has dreamed of for many years. Bill's commitment to pursuing a lifelong career in veterinary medicine reflects his dedication to helping animals and his desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of both animals and their families. Bill joined the Salish Veterinary Hospital team in September of 2023.
At home, Bill shares his life with his loving wife, Megan, and their three cherished pets: Luna, a playful and loyal Golden Retriever, and Milo and Squirt (pictured), two Siberian cats with their own unique personalities. In his spare time, when he's not focusing on his studies or planning for his future in veterinary medicine, Bill continues to embrace his love for the outdoors. Whether he's hiking through the mountains, camping in the wilderness, or exploring the trails in nearby national parks, Bill is always seeking new adventures that connect him with nature and provide him with a sense of peace and fulfillment. Ad Bill moves closer to his goal of becoming a veterinarian, he remains deeply grounded in his love for animals, his appreciation for the outdoors, and his commitment to making a positive impact in the world of veterinary care.
