Veterinary Assistant/Boarding Manager

Russell has dedicated over 20 years towards working in the veterinary industry. Much of his experience has been spent alongside the founding team at Salish Veterinary Hospital, where he has been an integral part of the clinic's growth and success. His commitment to animal care has only deepened over the years, and Russell's passion for helping animals has been further enriched by his time volunteering at PAWS Wildlife Rehab Center. There, he gained invaluable experience working with and providing rehabilitation to injured animals and learning the diverse needs of different species.

At home, Russell and his wife, Bethany, share their lives with a lively and lovable crew of pets. Their household includes a regal Persian cat named Chippy, who has a calm and dignified presence; an American Shorthair cat named Sancho, who is known for his playful nature and curious antics; a hospital rescue named Hvit, and a spirited Jack Russell Terrier named Guadalupe (pictured), whose boundless energy and enthusiasm keep the family on their toes. Together, these animals make up a beloved part f their family, each one contributing their own unique personality and joy to the household.

Outside of his professional life, Russell enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests. He is a bassist in a band that frequently performs around Snoqualmie and the Puget Sound area. His love for music is just one of the ways he expresses his creativity, and the camaraderie of playing in a band adds an exciting and rewarding dimension to his life. When Russell is not focused on his musical hobbies, he enjoys spending time outdoors. He loves camping, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He is also an avid fan of working on cars, where he takes pleasure in hands-on projects that allow him to restore and improve vehicles.
