Katie started as a kennel assistant, officially becoming a veterinary assistant in January of 2026. Katie has always had a love for animals, growing up with dogs, cats, and even rabbits. She attended WASU for a year, but realized she would rather work hands-on with the animals she loves. Katie has two holland lops, Fudge (pictured) and Smudge (pictured); two Australian Shepherds, Loki and Shadow; and a rambunctious Ragdoll named Atlas. Katie enjoys the outdoors, such as backpacking, hiking, and paddleboarding. When Katie is not outside, you can find her then the gym.
