Licensed Veterinary Technician/Patient Care Director

Alyson has dedicated over 13 years to the veterinary field, steadily growing her skills and knowledge with each passing year. Her journey in the veterinary world began with a deep passion for helping animals, and in 2017, she achieved an important milestone by becoming a licensed veterinary technician. Throughout her career, Alyson has developed a particular passion for caring for sick and inured animals, providing them with the compassionate and skilled care they need to recover and thrive. One of the aspects of her work that she finds most rewarding is assisting in surgeries, where she plays an essential role in ensuring that everything runs smoothly, from pre-operative preparations to post-operative care. Her expertise and steady hands help to ensure that each procedure is as successful and stress-free as possible for both the patients and the veterinary team.

In addition to her surgical involvement, Alyson is deeply committed to promoting and maintaining good oral health in animals, a field she believes is often overlooked but critically important to overall well-being. She is passionate about educating pet owners on the significance of oral care and actively works to improve the dental health of the animals she treats, helping to prevent the development of more serious conditions that can arise from poor oral hygiene.

Currently, Alyson is taking her commitment to animal care even further by working toward a specialty degree in veterinary dentistry. She is excited to continue expanding her expertise in this area, which will allow her to provide even more specialized care to her patients. The advanced education reflects her dedication to lifelong learning and her desire to stay at the forefront of the veterinary field, ensuring that she can offer the highest level of care and treatment for the animals she serves. With her passion, experience, and ongoing education, Alyson continues to make a significant impact in the lives of the pets and families she works with, always striving to enhance her skills and knowledge to better serve the animals in her care.

Outside the clinic, Alyson enjoys staying active through regular exercise and spending time in her garden. She's often joined by her two beloved dogs, Penny (pictured) and Baker (pictured), who are always happy to lend a paw in whatever active Alyson is up to.
