Licensed Veterinary Technician
Seliyah joined the Salish Veterinary team in August of 2026. She is a licensed veterinary technician from Auburn, Washington, with a passion for providing compassionate, high quality care to every patient she meets. She began her veterinary career in emergency medicine after earning her Veterinary Assistant Certificate from Pima Medical Institute, where she developed the ability to remain calm under pressure while caring for critically injured patients. She later returned to Pima to complete her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.
While Seliyah has a strong passion for emergency and urgent care medicine, she has recently discovered a love for surgery and enjoys the precision, teamwork, and patient advocacy that comes with every procedure. She is committed to ensuring each patient is treated with the same level of care and compassion she would want for her own pets. During her career, she became an AAFP Certified Cat Friendly Professional and enjoys helping feline patients have a more comfortable, low stress experience.
Outside of the clinic, Seliyah lives in Kent with her boyfriend, their Husky-German Shepherd mic, Romeo, and their cat, Tuli Ola. Coming from a large blended family with seven siblings, she values kindness, connection, and teamwork both in and out of the workplace. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, exploring new places with Romeo, and getting creative through painting, coloring, and building Lego sets.
